I love Black Sand Dive Retreat! I can't decide what I like the most - the airy guest rooms (and the wonderful walk-in wardrobe), the huge bathrooms, a roomy dive centre with plenty of dunk tanks, running water and a camera room big enough for everyone, the friendly genuine staff (who can cook, guide, sing and play musical instruments)... the list goes on.

Bruce and Fung's years of experience in Lembeh and the dive industry have translated to thoughtful touches to the dive centre and resort. These little details are truly appreciated because they make the divers' experience much more comfortable, pleasant and easy.

I would like to say many thanks to Bruce and Fung and their staff at Black Sand. We had a great time diving in Lembeh. It was our first time and we are pretty sure it will not be our last time there. The resort is extremely well located and the house reef is great (TK1&TK2). The accommodation is nice and well decorated. The staff are very friendly and polite.

We, of course, had a lovely time chatting with Bruce all through out our stay, learning more about what we saw and hearing many nice stories from him; it was great. I also like to say Thanks to Hengki, our superb DM, who found many wonderful critters for us on every dive; we saw most of the stuff on our shopping list!!!

Anyway, we would like to say Thanks to all of you at Black Sand for making our dive trip a great and most enjoyable one. We will be back.

We had read a lot about Lembeh Strait so had high expectations about what we were going to experience. But the reality was even better than we had hoped for. Wonderpus, Mimics, Bobbit Worms, loads of frogfish just to name a few.

Add to this your lovely new resort, excellent guides and great service. What more can we say, we enjoyed it and plan to come back for more.
